I'm so old I Remember when:

181 pennies make a pound, melt them down, scrap copper is getting $4.20 a pound. :lau Profit $2.39
Or….. I could shine them up, mix up some epoxy acrylic, line them out on a nice board, pour the acrylic over them and have it as a table top or backsplash or something. Conversation piece!

Oh yes that would be amazing! All the same side too! Heads or tails!

Toonies would be awesome too! (A toonie is a CND $2 coin) rather expensive though 😁

In Tensleep, Wyoming there was a Bar in which the bar (counter top) was filled with pennies. Haven't been there in a really long time so have no idea if the "penny bar" is still there.

A. Lincoln," by Richard Schlatter, is a portrait of Abraham Lincoln using 24,500 Lincoln pennies. Pennies from every year from 1909 to 2017 were used. This includes 1,681 steel pennies from 1943 that were used for Lincoln's shirt. The portrait won the ArtPrize international art competition Public Vote Grand Prize in 2017.
