No, we have a fake. Only ever had a real tree one year. Too expensive for me

We drill a hole in the corner and hang them in our macaw parrot cages. I have two parrots so they only get them every other year.

My cockatiel gets paper towel rolls, he loves them!

You have to buy ‘em around Christmas Eve. We generally can get a decent one for $10-15 (from Lowe’s, I think, though we’ve also bought from local tree stands).

I remember stomping on cans in our basement so they could be recycled to support the war effort during WWII. I also remember getting a new cap pistol from my mom to shoot in the street to celebrate the final defeat of Japan. Yep. I'm as old as dirt !

I put my tree up on the first Sunday of Advent. A real tree would never last until Jan 6, especially with my wood burner. Yet another reason I use a fake tree

We put up ours around Christmas Eve and take it down February 2. It gets a little dry but not bad. There is often a mess to clean up with pine needles after the removal though.
