Sure they do. Most chain restaurants nowadays all have pre-made frozen stuff. It's how they keep the taste consistent. I'd add 'and costs low' but that doesn't apply anymore.

When Pizza Hut first opened in my area it was a big deal watching the pizza's being made to order., much like the pizzerias did and still do. When that stopped the eat-in option soon fell by the roadside. From three 'restaurants' only one remained before being bought out by a vet. All Pizza Hut in Australia is now pick-up or delivery only.

Our local Pizza Hut is take our or delivery only. All this started with Covid. I know of one Pizza Hut that still has an open dining room. They bucked the trend. The next time I'm in that town we ma just stop for the old memories of getting a decent pizza at a decent price. I did love the stuffed crust.

I used to work at Pizza Hut and was actually the Dough Master. It was so satisfying seeing my perfect batches of dough. My secret? Don't follow the directions! LOL Dough is one of those things that can be affected by the very air. Changes every day. Thus you need to adapt.

I relate to so much of this, especially those skates! We lived on those things and our best memories involve being chased out of the little local shopping center by the cleaner and his huge scissor-broom

I don’t think I had candy jewelry, and I am a bit older than her so Jaws wasn’t quite so traumatizing - in fact me and my friend went because of the scary poster and we were not disappointed!

I remember the bike ramps and wild obstacle courses that led, inevitably, to ‘bleed over the sink’. The roller skates. I grew up over 3,000 miles from her and maybe maybe a half dozen years earlier, but she and I clearly shared the same childhood.

I remember when most newspaper cost a dollar or less for a Saturday edition. Today I saw a rack that was almost sold out where they were $4. I don't need charcoal starting newspaper that bad.
