I'm so old I Remember when:

Wouldn't that be 171? 🤔

I do! I do!

Who are you calling an adult???
Trust me, sometimes I feel that old.:lau

But think of the cool 'do you remember whens' I could come up with?!

Like ..... Do you remember when canned peaches hit the general store? Okay, I'm tired, that is about all I can come up with at this point.

Just to be correct, 1953. I REALLY hate it when you read on social media about vintage this or that from 1970 or better yet. This is how they did things back in the 70s or 'this is what life was like in the 1960s!'

Society makes us old even when we don't feel that way.

The great thing about the ‘vintage’ thing is people assume I purchased a vintage item to be fashionable, when really I have just kept using it since it was new in the ‘70s and ‘80s.
This applies to everything from clothes to kitchen items.
And of course hand tools most of which are much older as they were my grandfather’s.

We still have it in my country, is that an old thing?
Canned peaches came out around the late 1800s here. If memory serves me correctly they were a smash hit with the cowboys who would carry cans of them in their saddle bags to eat when they were out doing their thing.

Funny but I think they were one of the first canned products to hit the market.

Yep, everything old is new again sooner or later. Although I have to say that while I think they are coming back again to a point I sure hope the big old wide legged bell bottom pants stay a thing of the past. Along with love beads and big medallion necklaces.

I dunno, I like seeing... Never mind. I like nice legs... :gig
