The jet model plane I posted the picture of lost contact and landed in a briar patch. The retrieved it wearing Bermuda shorts and came back with severely scratched and bleeding legs. He had the plane in one hand and Ber Rabbit in the other.

Br'er rabbit. Now that's one Disney show I really enjoyed. Still to this day I don't totally understand its being banned. It makes no more logical sense than changing the General Lee. Wish I still had a VCR player. I've got a copy of that movie somewhere around here.

Just watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Enjoyed it. Then again, I can appreciate that times change and even if what we did in the past is no longer acceptable, it was then. It was the norm.

If we were to erase everything in history that we no longer consider acceptable, we would have NO history. Although as we all know, history is written by the 'winners' in most cases.

Interesting how the revisionists haven't banned Gone With The Wind.

People are just so sensitive anymore. I don't know how it began but if it continues to escalate, no one will feel free to talk out loud for fear of offending someone.

I do know why TPTB said they were banning it. I just don't logically understand it happening. I could write a college level essay on the movie exploring a few subcategories but this is not the website for that.
