I remember when snowmobiles came out and a lot of people lost their heads over them. Literally. When the snow would be just the right depth and a snowmobile ran under a clothesline... I'm the guy with the small boat on Fletcher's Pond fishing among the stumps. If there are still stumps. I'm remembering the sunburn I got fishing there on a memorial day back in the late 60's.
My husband loves Fletcher's Pond!
 
At least prior generations knew if they were boys or girls
Not so sure that is right. I remember as a kid being aware of some 'unusual individuals'. But this is probably not the place for that discussion
 
I wish it were still like that. I agree and each day the United States is going further and further down the drain.
We've been told this would happen. And it's only going to get worse. Sadly.
