I'm so old I Remember when:

Our TV had 3!
We had a very early model remote controlled TV. My dad loved getting all kinds of new technology. The remote was ultrasound. I learned to pitch my voice so high that I could change the channels that way! :lau

I remember when my bedtime was 8pm and that was strictly enforced because there was some show that came on at 8pm that my parents wanted to watch.
I distinctly remember being woken up by my Dad looking rather sheepish because the TV had stopped working and I was the only one who knew how to manipulate the set-top aerial 'just so'.
Bedtime was a bit of a farce after that event!

I can remember when the complaints were about kids spending too much time in front of the television. Then computers came along.
And now it’s virtual reality goggles and cellphones!

Note: virtual reality goggles are a fun novelty, but I can’t see myself investing in them.
