I'm so old I Remember when:

In the long ago a lot of young ladies went to war over having to wear upper body support wear. A pencil was used to determine if they needed the support wear. May not have happened in your neck of the woods. I think it was in the 60's here when a lot of turmoil was going on in general.
When I was young it was fashion not to wear a bra. 🙄

Rewatching a slightly older tv show made when I was a teen.
The "cutting edge" computers involved huge white boxes called monitors with bubble shaped screens.
And then there was another heavy box (an entirely different box!) meant to control it.
I remember using those boxes at home :caf
I remember lugging those heavy boxes in and out of the car on road trips so mom could get set up to check her email. After a lengthy dialing process, of course.

At 18, I bought my first cellular telephone. I mean, I was a millennial, so I kind of had to. It featured a nifty little fold out keyboard, so you could hold the phone in two hands and use your thumbs to type text messages.
Everyone my age was texting and inventing shorthand. I felt so stubborn about typing full sentences, no one wanted to text with me because I took forever (still do). So like a lot of my friends / acquaintances, I took to texting a 3 digit number which was a free question answering service. From driving directions, to song names based on lyrics, to how to parallel park, or even Miss Manners socializing type stuff. We didn't have the internet on our phones back then.
