Fun fact: Windows XP Professional 64 bit is actually based off of Windows Server 2003 with XP features sprinkled on top.

NEVER locked our doors. Knew every neighbor by name and actually waved and talked to everyone in the neighborhood.

This part: I realized a few years ago so many of my neighbors had changed I didn't know the half of em. I took advantage of the Holiday Season as I baked cookies and delivered a decorated Dollar Tree boxful along with a friendly note introducing myself and my family two houses in each direction on both sides of the street.

Ha! One time I needed to free up space on my home computer. I started deleting pictures I no longer needed and files I didn't recognize. One such file with a very strange name that I didn't recognize that got the axe turned out to be something to do with the windows starting up. Never underestimate the ability of ignorance combined with enthusiasm and determination!

When I first got a computer, I opened every file I could to see what they were and did including hidden files.

You can't do that with the new computers.

Back in the Dos 2.x days, I got curious and deleted the . and .. files.
Then had to call my boyfriend to turn my new boat anchor back into a computer!
