I'm so old I Remember when:

I filled a gas can a billion times as a kid for 12¢ to mow yards, gas wars it be 8-9¢ gal

Few times a nickel, but usually there was that double bubble jar at the station, so you may as well call it 6¢ gal

I can even remember when chickens had antlers

Brand new premium top of the line push mower at Sears cost $6.50

Going fee for mowing a yard, flower beds, edging it with a flat hoe, bagging all debris was a quarter & took 2 days. Weren't weed eaters or skateboards yet. We thought people were crazy to pay us for exercising !

It was a good idea because otherwise we'd just be in a neighbors garage with the boxing gloves on anyway. By 6th grade none of the neighborhood kids had any straight fingers or a full set of teeth (like chickens)

Rotary dial phones with long cords. Most phone numbers started with "mohawk, something something".

One had to find a pay phone when away from home to make a call - for a dime. All phone booths contained phone books.

The first cell phone was a bag phone that plugged into the car cigarette lighter.
