As you learn to use technology each day as required, you will acquired quite a lot.

For me, I just need to go into town more often.

Imagine people choose to live off grid, when they HAVE go into town, they will be in for a big shock and they will not have the necessary stuff required by this fast moving world. Can not fill out a form anymore, it is paperless now.

I was like that. At a former employer when we all went paperless with I pads fought it but here I'm today doing everything with my tablet. Although my personal is android I just like that platform better than Apple

I warmed up to Android after I realized a iPhone was out of my price range and that it didn't have what I needed unless I wanted to pay extra.

I had a real time 'do you remember' happen to us over the weekend. Our tv in our family room decided to self destruct.

We spent over two days on line searching for a replacement.

So, do you remember when there were only a few brands of televisions to choose from and you went to the local appliance store to choose one? RCA, Philco, Motorola are the three that come to mind for me.

3 or 4 stations to choose from, no apps, no Roku, Netfix or whatever to consider along with ports for HDMI, external audio, blah blah blah...

Ahhhh for the good old days. We finally found a new smart TV (smart, that's a laugh. Remember when we used to call TV the boob tube?) that will be delivered tomorrow.

Do you remember when buying a tv wasn't so complicated?

Yes, I remember TV was not started out so complicated. My parents had a small box black and white tv. We just love it. Then came the colour tv bigger, still have to walk to it to turn channels....then I was busy growing up..etc.....TV just got a whole lots complicated.

Now TV is really complicated, so many features and it needs to be tune for channels so often and software update as well. It does come with internet on it, but we never use it. I only hope all these complexity delay dementia as the brain has to work so hard just to have a TV.

At the same time I had an I phone teathered to an I pad and my personal phone was Samsung. I would prefer apple for business cause it just works with desktop better, but the personal use I prefer the android. Just me. I feel iPad is made more for business. I coukd never get Android to work with desktop well due to all the proprietary operating systems
