Yeah, I guess all that Pagan symbology appropriated for a Christian holiday means people should say Merry Christmas rather than Happy Holidays. ‘Tis the way.

Are you talking about Disney’s Song of the South from the 1940s, or the 2006 film The adventures of Brer Rabbit (don’t think that one is Disney)?Br'er rabbit. Now that's one Disney show I really enjoyed. Still to this day I don't totally understand its being banned. It makes no more logical sense than changing the General Lee. Wish I still had a VCR player. I've got a copy of that movie somewhere around here.
Also not banned. Available on Amazon.L. B. S. - takes place in India with the moral to not panic but be patient and clever when faced with danger?
Though the Occupationally Outraged should check their facts before assuming the Occupationally Offended have banned something. To me it appears that there is an ever growing army of people that chose/invented a new profession with which they can manipulate and terrorize their fellow men and women:
The Occupationally Offended
I find in the US everyone says ‘passed away’ which is just as much of a euphemism. Some people won't say "dead" "killed" or "murdered' or just about anything to do with death. They just say "unalived".
It depends where you are. I was wished Merry (or Happy) Christmas dozens of times in stores on Monday when I went to get provisions for today.I still remember when things were "Merry Christmas".
