New Years celebrations were something I did it my youth simply because I was following the masses. But, for decades the ‘New Year’ has been nothing more than one more tick of the second hand. Remember Y2K and how all of the hype turned to nought, it was just one more tick of the second hand after all.

I can’t agree, I went on a whiskey tour in Edinburgh, went with a friend who usually doesn’t drink either, so when she merrily drank, I drank too, the next morning, I had the worst hangover EVER!! My friend didn’t, she was chirpy 🙄 I was supposed to meet the landlady of my daughter, so I tried to recoup as beat as I could to meet her, first asprin came back, the next one stayed where it was supposed to, so I could meet the lady halfway decent, that was the last time I drank more than 1/2 glasses of wine 😇
