Ya I used to give tons away. I'd just put them in a cooler at my drive. I didn't even care to know who took them. Seems weird to expect anything in return for something I'm giving away.

I give eggs away but I ask for the shells back so I can feed them back to the chickens.
Sometimes I get an egg box back and instead of eggs or shells it has Reese’s peanut butter cup minis or M&Ms. A cute thank you for the eggs.

Oh no! I have a little stamp that says ‘please return the carton’ and I always get my cartons back.
