I have not wear jean for many years now. I noticed some young people these days have legs straight all the way without thighs....I wonder what sort of food they eat?I'm going to take a pair of jeans to Goodwill. Hubby likes them ("They show off your legs!"), but they are UNCOMFORTABLE and the pockets are too small. Too bad, hubby.
I should have known. Odd numbered sizes are made to fit women who didn't grow hips and thighs. I have both.
In Australia, we do not have odd number. Our clothing size are 8, 10,12, ...etcOdd numbers are for Juniors. Even numbers are for Women.

My good old grandma passed away at 102 years young, she was skinny 35kg,but a big hip, she had so many falls and did not break her hips. She often tell me, her big hips cushioned her falls.![]()
And it seems that every clothing company has a different definition of what small, medium, and large actually means.I remember buying clothes that came in every number: 0, 1, 2, 3, etc.
Now, you're lucky to get a unisex S, M, L.
That is very interesting.Pockets used to be their own clothing item, worn under skirts. There was a slit in the skirt and you reached through it to access the pockets. The pockets were big and useful. Sort of the 18th century version of a double fanny pack.

I wear a photographer’s vest in the garden. It has dozens of pockets. I love it. It even has a big pocket at the back that is big enough for a selection of hand tools.I find side pockets is great idea.
I wear an apron when I am in the garden with my feather kids, my apron has a front pocket and I have sunflower seeds in it. I need more than 1 pocket. I am going to modify an old denim dress into an apron and it already has 2 pockets on the side.
That is the perfect vest there, I need something like that. I always carry about garden tools with me and then running around looking for there, where did I leave them?I wear a photographer’s vest in the garden. It has dozens of pockets. I love it. She was in the generation where there was little food to eat, so they eat little, no sugar stuff. She barely eat any sugary food, no cake, a small biscuit, and not even every day. Small portion of food. I guess the body gets what it needed, it has time to repair itself, and she only had knees issue in her late 90. She walked everywhere and had many friends.102! What kind of food did she eat?
