I get excited too Katy when the new gals start laying!!...I took 8 doz. eggs today to a family reunion and you would have thought I gold in my cooler!!..They took every egg I had!!...

There was another egg in the sussex coop today. Don't know if it was the same girl or not. Now if I'd only start finding them in the Orp coop........

It never gets old when I start finding pullet eggs in with the big girl eggs..... it's always exciting.

Seems like I've been waiting forever for these Blue wyandottes and BBS orps to start laying!!

I know how you feel.

One of my new EE pullets just started laying last Sat and I got just as excited as waiting for my girls to start laying last yr.

I wasn't expecting it b/c she was just a little over 18 months old. The girls last yr made me wait until they were 20 - 24 weeks old.

I'm still waiting for the other 3 EE girls to lay and 4 Ameraucanas.
