Ok the more I look at pictures here and around the web I'm really starting to think Cas might be a goose instead of a duck? Here's why...
1) he was far larger than the others his age when we picked him.
2) he's really loud! Almost never stops peeping unless we're right there or holding him which he loves.
3) he runs to us with his head lowered and neck out stretched wings flapping peeping happily and then wiggles his little butt when he gets over to us.
4) he never runs away or gets skittish he actually stands calmly and let's us pick him up and even lifts his feet to step onto our hands.
5) his bill and feet and black and a pale skin tone kind of color, definitely no orange on him at all.
6) his bill seems longer and kinda more pointy than my friends ducklings of the same age and his legs seem longer and he stands taller.
Here's some pictures if anyone can help. We love him dearly but if he's a goose I'm going to need to make some adjustments and figure out how big he's going to get! Thanks in advance!
