You should pray, pray, pray for your cousin! My cousin went through this too and is still going through it. You can TRY to talk to her about it but the most important thing to do is PRAY! I will pray also

I just heard a little more info from my mom...

Turns out she IS cutting. My aunt told my mom back around Thanksgiving, and she told my mom "Don't tell the girls!" My mom replied that she thinks we already knew. In a way, we did, but weren't sure. So, my cousin has been going to a counselor and/or psychologist (don't remember which, or possibly both) for "OCD" (mom didn't remember quite what that stood for). The idea came up in our conversation (by way of me telling them hdowden's idea of taking her out to lunch -- thank you for that!

) that my older sister could call her up sometime and they could have lunch/hot chocolate or something, and just talk. It was decided that it should be one-on-one, instead of two of us "against" her, which might make her feel uncomfortable/nervous.

So, I am very thankful for your support here. We're praying hard that she gets over this and stop before it gets out of control.
