Impacted crop? help!

I noticed one of my chickens this morning did not want to come off the roost bar and she's usually one of the first out. She finally came down later on and doesn't show much energy. Just slowly walking and pecking here and there. I picked her up and felt her crop and it's very hard like a golf ball. Does this sound like impacted crop? If so what can I do?

Can you have someone assist you with your hen? A neighbor, sibling or parent? Have them help you evaluate your hen and narrow down her symptoms.

Often a crop issue is a symptom of an underlying condition. If you suspect egg bound this morning, then a crop problem would be a symptom - nothing is moving.
Can your hen poop at all?
