Impacted crop on 3 week old chick

Advice please! New chick mom. I have two 3 week old chicks with their mom and other hens in the coop. I noticed tonight that their crop was harder than I’ve noticed before. I have chick grit and chick starter out there but they follow momma around and eat whatever she eats. I’m worried about impacted crop. How do I help them and also get them to eat their food vs the big girl food?

They probably just ate a bit more before they went to bed. An impacted crop would be still full in the morning. Also regarding the food, I’d suggest switching the flock to an All Flock feed (20% protein) so that the chicks wouldn’t eat the big girl food that has too much calcium.
