Impacted Crop?

Here is a video of tube feeding, and there are numerous threads about it:
A 15 inch length of aquarium air tubing (from Walmart pet aisle or pet stores) can be connected to a large syringe from a feed store which would work. The cut end of tubing can be sharp, so most recommend taking a lighter and melting/softening the edge that goes into the throat. Many hardware stores and TSC’s sell plastic tubing by the foot. They also sell syringes in most states.

You're in good hands with Eggcessive. We raise Silkies, so I'm watching for your success in this thread and would emphasize what was said above: Make sure your fella is drinking plenty of water.
Silkies seem a little ditzy sometimes, and ours have been known to "forget" to eat or drink on occasion, especially just before bedtime and with a full crop of food... Good luck!

I would not use plain copper sulfate. It needs to be acidified or it would be dangerous to use. Can you keep him with the others inside a crate where he can see them but keep him on mushy water feed with no whole grains or scratch? Or feed the whole gang a pan of mushy wet feed with a little plain yogurt and keep massaging? His crop probably is not sour yet if you don’t smell a bad odor when pressing on the crop. Here is where you can order acidified copper sulfate and dosage is 1/4 tsp per gallon of water:

Our acidified copper sulfate came! The crop has mostly cleared, but I can still feel one super small "doughy" ball that isn't gone in the morning. He has been with the others, I had just pulled the scratch grains and was only feeding crumble food. When I mix the water, is it safe for all of them to drink, or should I put him in his crate for the day?
Also, these are our first chickens, and they do feel a little "bony"... Would it hurt to treat them for coccidiosis (I have corid)?
