Impacted crop

She's not been eating seeds for a little while has she?
If she had a blockage, it may be breaking free. Keep it up.
No she has not. Her crop seems a bit smaller this morning. We have gone from it being full of water to more doughy again. Her poops overnight were more solid. She has had her coconut oil for the morning as well as the miconazole.

She looks like she feels better. As soon as she jumped in the kennel when we finished with meds she went straight to the food and started chirping like she was excited. She picked up a couple pieces to eat. I really hope whatever this is be it impacted that turned sour or what they we are on the downward slop. This morning was day 4 of the Miconazole treatments. Below are her poops from overnight.

Its great that she's improving! Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to give you guys an update. I wasn’t able to come home during lunch today to check on her and my husband had to work today. Got home and her crop was a little more on the harder side but seemed smaller. She had only pooped once since I left for work this morning. I have her the coconut oil and massaged the crop. Her crop felt like it was almost completely empty after massaging. I mixed up some crumbles with Corid water more on the soupy side. She did these loud chirps like she was tidbitting and started eating. She stopped and pooped and it was a huge poop. Since she acted like she was feeling a lot better I brought her out to the coop to spend some time with the flock. Mainly so they can see each other and don’t forget her. Trying to avoid having to reintroduce her if possible. Things have gone smooth. Currently sitting outside with her. She looks happy. Will bring her in after a bit and get her back in the kennel. Hopefully in the next day or 2 she will be back 100%. I am hopeful.

Here is the pretty girl currently.

She is a pretty girl!❤️
Looks like she is feeling better too. I think you are making progress!
Hopeful here :fl

When you look at her poop, nothing moves right? No signs of expelled worms.
Looking at this below, is that just fibrous material, thin poop or?
Just checking.

That is correct. I’ve been checking every poop and no movement at all. Just very fiberous. Her crop this morning is the smallest it’s been yet. She only pooped once over night and it looked completely normal. We have done the coconut oil and Miconazole treatments. Down our massages. Going to try to do massages frequesntly today since I will be home.

Im thinking about bringing her back outside this morning for some more supervised visits. Maybe the running around will do her some good and help breakup whatever is left.

She’s been nibbling on food here and there today. I brought her out for a little bit today and she was running around scratch and wanted to try to keep eating grass. I kept stopping her. If she does have a blockage that’s working lose I don’t want that clogging her back up. She’s in really good spirits. She’s only pooped once so far today and that’s while we were outside. I have been trying to massage her crop every couple hours.

I’m really hoping tomorrow I will wake up to a flat crop.
