A Buff Barred bird with Lavender would do a similar job of a peachy pink barred bird. Add some Mahogany and you'll likely get a pink barred bird.

Really? In my project birds, F2s, I am expecting to get some buff barred (culls). Hmmm, maybe I will have to try that!
It's my personal theory, really, but based on reality. I've seen Buff Columbian with Lavender, and it's pretty nice and peachy in color. (the buff) - Adding Lavender may help bring out more of a reddish tinge or just simply darken it.

I dare to disagree with you guys here...
seems like I was Dead Wrong here guys, its possible to have Black and Blue all together thanks to Ml, Db and E or ER... How do I realized that? well I have a 11 month old chick that is showing rudimentary black spangling on a blue background he also have Black feathers.... also some white feathers but I believe this to be not related to Melanotic
If there is a rare color pattern then you'll find it amongst the Games and Orientals. Historically it seems the cockers were the ones that originated and bred most of the wierd and exotic color patterns. I've seen patterns among Orientals in particular that I would have swore were impossible to produce.

That just appears to be a poorly colored splash. I have a modern bantam hen that has a pale blue background with black feathers, and black flecks of color here and there.
