I can’t understand why you used silkie breed ! In this project! What you want to take from it !?In your pic nothing from silkie breed !
Or you want to take the Feathers type only ? Mmm I think will awesome
Good Luck

wish you continue with pictures:thumbsup
The walnut comb is a feature I want from the silkie, & black skin. The picture I wasn't sure how to color it without smudging details.

The silkie is supposedly for the walnut comb and black skin. I suggested Russian Orloff for the walnut comb and gamebird body build but MysteryChicken didn't like the idea of the beard and muffs (even though those traits can be bred out).

It's actually hard to breed out beards, it's a dominant trait that shows up in unbearded silkies, that have been bred to bearded silkies sometime in their ancestry for example. I want to avoid beards as much as possible for this project, & maybe add a bearded variety later on.

How are you going to avoid beards when you plan on using easter eggers for green egg color?

It doesn't help with the combs, but perhaps Ayam cemani would help size wise and meat color. Their skin somehow is pretty dominant breeding so almost all their chicks should have dark if not black skin
