I just noticed this thread, I think that this breed is a good idea, and I like the name! How is your breeding going, @MysteryChicken ? Are you close to creating the Emerald Dragon or do have some way to go? What’s the closest mix you have so far to the breed your looking for?

What do you think about using Phoenix for long flowing feathers or better off use Sumatra? I maybe able to get some free Phoenix roosters.

This project is on pause for now. I'm starting a new breed project called The Rainbow Runners next spring. It's a long term, high cull project.

Beard is a dominant trait, so yes. One reason I'm doing both bearded, & none bearded varieties.
