In about 2-3 years, I'll be creating a new Breed of chicken called the Emerald Dragon.(Discussion)

Don't some dragons have Beards (especially the Asian dragons)? You could breed the trait out with relative ease if you don't like the look.

Some dragons do have beards yes, but some don't also.

Why not have a silkie version, who wound not wont that.

Probably a bit laye, for dropped from the thread, just know silkied feathers and long feathers do not go hand in hand. Neither do frizzles. They both make the tails way more delicate. That's why all the silkies and Frizzled you see have shorter feathers

My boy SnuggleBug has always had a longish tail, same with my tallest silkie rooster Scaredy. Scaredy's tail feathers got broken thanks to a Guinea that likes biting chicken tails.

Planning to use him, & Scaredy.

The regular feathered chickens in the same coop as Scaredy has broken feathers too, so he's not the only one. Silkie feathers aren't really much more brittle then a regular chicken feather.

Maybe, I'll add a bearded variety.

That sounds really interesting. I guess I never put much thought into cross breeding. Though I do have all colour varieties of Sumatra , silkies and Easter Eggers. Now you have me thinking what I can come up with lol
