My primary Sumatra cockerel Shadow died recently due to an unexpected heart attack. I was gonna use him for this project, but I guess I'll have to use Demon, who hates me.

Thanks, I like challenges.it’ll be a long, hard, task but that sounds like an amazing looking chicken! Really hope it works out!
I love the color contrast, especially how rich the red is of the top roo!
I had an EE rooster look exactly like this once! So beautiful. But wasn't the best guy for the project since he was small and had too much silver in the hackles. Otherwise, a very beautiful rooThey're very pretty. Great work.
I still have my one EE I don't need.View attachment 2599931View attachment 2599935

All are nice looking birds. Here is a hen from the same mother (and likely the same father as the top Roo)

This is the mother hen I'm relying on. She lays chocolate colored eggs, not very large. Medium in size (eggs).View attachment 2599946
This is a separate bird altogether. Freedom Ranger crossed with a sapphire blue. Her size and color is A+++. She is impressively heavy. I'd like to use the project roos I have and breed them to this hen and her sisters.View attachment 2599948View attachment 2599954
