I've also heard the P or F0 generation called the Foundation or Founding chickens. Then their offspring would be F1 and so on.

Actually sounds a lot like my project. My main goal is extreme iridescence but the body shape and tail are similar. I’m not getting really good tails yet but I’m still breeding to increase the iridescence.

The second photo is the tail that I’m after (not sure if these photos are going in in a correct order). And finally the type of iridescence I’m after with the shift from blue/green to gold to violet.

I like her iridescence.
My Sumatras shimmer more green then anything, but that can be fixed through breeding.

There’s a lot of breeds but some are Sumatra, Ayam Cemani, Ponape, Shamo and Tomaru.

Ponape, & Tomaru I haven't heard of before.

I'm gonna be using Sumatras, LF Silkies, Malays, & Brahmas for mine.

The Malay I'm planning on using. Only the blacks that are produced will be used.
