I don't respect what PETA does at all. They're literally domestic terrorists are are not interested in helping improve animal welfare. They are only interested in the complete liberation AKA extinction of all domestic animals and furthermore are pushing for an extremist, classist, and racist way of life.

While on that topic, the HSUS is also a lobbyist group, doesn't run actual shelters, and is essentially the more socially acceptable/toned down face of PETA. Same end goal.

Back to the OP, Unless you have ever eaten goose before and know how to cook it, a pressure cooker will not only make the meat tender, but kill any harmful bacteria that poultry may have come in contact with and make it safe to eat.

Lets all hope that the End of The World Scenario, isn't anytime soon.

Get some backyard chickens and start a little farm with a rooster so you can hatch your own food and know exactly what it’s fed. But no, do not eat wild geese; as the above poster stated you’ll get in serious trouble, not to mention all the crazy PETA nut bags that will probably harass you for life.

If things get so bad you must resort to that it means you really aren't prepared, be prepared. However if things are that bad for everyone others will have got those birds before you, or if you get them others will be trying to take them from you. I once read that we are always just 9 meals away from Anarchy! I believe there is truth to that...
