Chapter 2
When we were a bit older, Sam, Blaze, Sara, and I were taken outside and put in a big, nice pen. All of the sudden a red truck came into the driveway. Another man came out and took two of my litter mates away- Sam and Blaze. The car pulled out of the driveway, and soon enough, a black car pulled up. Another big human, took Sara away. I was left in the pen, alone. After a long time that day, a gold car came. The man in it, got out, and talked to my owner. Finally, he picked me up and put me in his car. I wobbled around in the back of the gold car. A long time later, the man got out, picked me up, and carried me to a house.
Inside, I layed on the floor, when another dog approached me. I jumped up quickly from where I was laying, and moved somewhere else. "Hi..." I said to the strange dog shyly.
"Hello!" The strange dog said to me.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Spike." He replied.
"I'm... Lilly." I told the dog.
