Ooh, glad to hear you have babies! Somehow I lost track of this thread; I have 19 EEs and Silkie/EE crosses and two production reds so far, with 9 more eggs still in the bator. And guess! I go into lockdown on July 27 for my porcelain d'Uccle eggs! I love bantams, always have, they *are* hardy little creatures.
I do the same thing, 'cept I chatter to the dogs and cats: "Mommy has to go scoop litter boxes now; Mommy needs to vacuum the floor, it's covered with hair; Mommy needs some coffee real bad!" That sort of thing!
