A number of animal rescues are putting pet evacuation plans like this up on FB. Haven't found one for chickens yet but a lot of stuff we've covered here. One thing we didn't is ensuring your name & pet's names are on cages & tags.

So the fire is back 50k’s from us. But it has been bumped to emergency warning. Still hot wind. I’m out with my grandma at the moment but keeping an eye on it. If it gets to dangerous we will evacuate but it’s 50k’s away so no emergency

ONce the cold southerly comes through we should be ok as the fire will be pushed back on itself
