No, we stayed, we dont have any fires near us at present, we were all packed up ready to go though. We got told of our evacuation centre...about 100km away, on the only open road out of here.

i honestly don’t know how you do it. The conditions we had today, the horrible heat, the warnings, the alerts, without a fire near, was really scary. You guys have all that plus an actual fire threat. You guys are tough cookies that’s for sure.
