None of mine have ever had problems passing puppies. That is a common problem in show dogs though cause of the big heads..

This is a show pug.

An mine.

Thats the mom an dad by the way. I breed for a longer nose than standard. I want to fit my finger behind their nose as an adult which makes for better breathing. That is a no go in the show scene. I also want the head big but not bigger than the body.

I want mine to be able to run an play in the yard in 100 degree heat an pass puppies well. Most show pugs need AC to survive past 80 degrees an need a C-section to have puppies.

Yeah, I've been called in to assist in C-sections on many a Pug, French Bulldog, Boxers.......

Cynthia he would be perfect for you - just sayin'

I know right? I love dogs.

Ok, so Rebel, you don't want any of your pugs looking this much show quality.

No really though, I know what you are saying about that snug pug nose. So many health problems. Not just with the breathing part, but they have to be taken care of in between those wrinkles. They can get some pretty nasty infections if the heat causes a rash in there, and the owner isn't aware of it..a lot of different types of skin problems in that area if not taken care of properly.

So, when are you going to send me that pup? Would shipping be a lot..along with the cost of the dog and the kennel? I know, you don't ship.

Major kudos to you for putting the dogs first in your breeding program. Don't know if it's been driven by AKC or breeders, but so many of the breeds have serious health problems. Boxers in the 60s were beautiful with their nice square muzzles. Now their noses are shoved so far back their eyes bulge out. Not an improvement in my opinion. I could go on, but I won't. You just earned 10 more points on my respect scale. Keep up the good work.
