I was just going to ask if this was a speckled Sussex when you answered my questioned...lol.
I saw one of my "speckled" EE hens lay her egg yesterday and I just put two and two together last night as to where my "speckled" type hens are coming from.

Your pic confirms it.

Thanks! It's the camera on my Samsung S5, but it surprised me when we were driving in the blizzard at Christmas and it could see clearer through the snow and take a clearer picture than my eyes could see. I could only see the first yellow line.





I've really got to crack out my Cannon! It's nothing super special, just a point and shoot...but the phone can't display the perception that the cannon can. Below is a pic the cannon took of flooding at the MIL. Our eyes don't see it the way the cannon took it. Kinda neat.
