Increasing flock size: when to add/how many/etc

To be fair, I have mallards and I like them. I just am cautious with them around my larger ducks.

Buff Orpington would be compatible size-wise to Pekins.

Looking into all the breeds and sizes now; I never factored in the size of male vs female / breed vs breed for mating
