Incubating cracked egg..!

Cracked eggs set on day 1 (depending on the crack) make it to day 10. If cracked on day 10, (depending on the crack) they have a better chance of hatching.

Not a fan of tape, but it is on, I say leave it on.

That would mean mine would be a goner but he developed till at least day 16. Now on day 18 in lockdown but some blood came out too. I saw no movement before I put it in so might be a long 3 day wait now

How will the egg external pip if the tape is over the full air cell?

I candled the egg last night. Chick was moving. But this morning when i candel it again there was no movement.....

Any pipping? Give it some time, maybe he still has a chance. Maybe he is tried? Maybe this is wishful thinking.

Mine was still alive last night too but there was more blood this morning sO I went and opened the incubator to candle it. Humidity dropped to 37%. Hope I didn't make things worse but I think mine might have passed away too, still keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry I don't have a picture. The blob of blood is actually quite interesting, it looks like the egg has a little red party hat on it, the blob formed pyramid shaped, like a little volcano

I was going to say don't give up on it just yet. I fully dropped an egg and patched with candle wax around day 14. It hatched and was a healthy chick.

No pipping. The egg is still in incubator. Others strt pipping tonight.....
