Incubating eggs...Anyone want to join me

I just finished my new incubator.And now to see if it will hold the heat & the moisture, If so then I know I have it built right, I got a heavy duty plastic storage bin from wal mart & paid $8 & the turner I have that I got from the feed store the wire I have laying around. And I got a black hose kinda like they use for a gas line for a weed eater running into the water pan inside. The light sockets I have laying around and the light bulbs are the new kind of light bulbs that cost about $6 for 1.So far I have into this incubator is $45 for turner, $27 for wafer thermostat. & $6 for a light bulb. My new incubator after build.

Total cost to build this is $78.

IN TEST MODE NOW!!! same build as the one www.rushlanepoultry.com make but with different kind of cooler or bin. (identical)

I HEAR CHIRPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was starting to get very sad about the little one not making it, but just got home and heard it!! my humidity was 62 so added 2tsp of h2o to elevate it a little!!

Wyogirl: Excellent job

Now you got the same kinda guy I got and yes mine was acting like this...I think I should take him to the vet cause he was over active when he was born. this is what he was acting like

I mean once he got going he didn't stop. Do you have any pictures of yours? Mine knows how to make some noise. He has made noise since he was born except for about 30 min.

It's not out yet as soon as it is i will definitely post, the other 2 have no pip or anything sooooo if i at least get one i will be ecstatic!

Thank You, You done everything right and most likely them other 2 wasn't fertile like mine.So just to say you had a hatch of 100%. Infertile does not count

It hatched!!! a little Silkie, am gonna give the other 2 eggs a couple of days. It was so exciting to watch, very hard not to open the incubator to help!!

Try clickin on it again cause I had to reboot cam. or you can go to www.eyespyfx.com and click on letter B look for baby chick born 7/1/11.
Let me reboot pc and I should have it up and running.back online with camera.I just checked again with the feather sexing and it's a little girl. Sorry but my camera keep going offline
