incubating eggs

Just saw this thread tonight. I've got 5 bourbon red turkey eggs, 8 Welsummer, and 8 red ranger breed to my welsummer roo in my hova bator. 8 of the chicken eggs are due to hatch Mon, feb 5th, and the rest the following Monday. I've got an old little giant incubator that I will use for the first hatch for those last 3 days since my bator has an egg turner in it. I have been candling all the eggs and the red ranger eggs all look great. I can't see much of anything in any of the Welsummer eggs so I don't know what to think about them. They are dark brown. Any thoughts on this? i havent incubated for about 20 yrs so i feel like a newbie. 4/5 of the turkey eggs look good at this point.

Well o just got done candling and I don't think any of my chicken eggs are any good which sucks because my Minorca rooster died yesterday and I was wanting my Minorca eggs to hatch and only half of my 44 quail eggs are good I guess that's what happens when your Bater messes up i guess I will see what happens with the quail
