Incubating Lavender Ameraucanas Dry Hatch or No?

Thank you! So do you think I should let my eggs that just arrived today sit for about 24 since its so hot here in Arizona? my house is like at 82 degrees during the day. I have 12 acres of river bottom property that gets pretty cool at night but, its hot every where during the days in Az!☀

That would be a good idea then. I also suggest using an egg carton and not turning the first 3 days since letting them sit out in that heat is more risky. And only hand turn slightly that next week, if you have an automatic egg turner use it after that first full week hand turning. You wanna be able to help stabilize air cells as best as you can.

Been off the thread as I do not have any lavender ameraucanas..
My blue, Azula and my splash, Hedwig, are doing great and are so sweet. They snuggle down with the silkies at night.
Just thought you all would like to know that one of the grocery store eggs hatched! Little yellow chick on the left. Pretty sure it's a rooster already based on behavior. He is a little pistol. Ornery and pecks my hand and his little hatchmate, a very sweet silver laced orpington, chick on the right!

He looks like boy!!! Congrats on the grocery buy! I think mine are both girls now! Eloise and Charlotte! They are so fast!! Did they just hatch today? Lil sweethearts
