I also have a question. Do I need to remove the cock if I want the hen to hatch her own clutch? Will he harm the chicks when they hatch if I leave him in with her? Any info. on peafowl would be helpful. thanks.

No , mine will set and hatch eggs with the peacock in the pen.​
 
I had tons of eggs last year, most fertile, but peahens would not set for all the wishing & hoping in the world! Not much luck in the incubator, but that was probably my fault, I can't seem to leave the door closed!

Something I do with the styrofoam incubators...to keep from having to open & turn so much, I either pack 'em so they don't roll or put them in a paper egg carton, then stick something under one side & move it a few times throughout the day. My chickens hatched great this way.
