Incubating Shipped Silkie Eggs

I have 2 chicks now completely dry in the incubator, 3 eggs pipped, 1 still yet to pip.
I have a slight concern, it seems there is blood on one of the pips? Is this normal?

I noted my eggs from my broody hen were 'messy' with blood inside a couple of the eggs. I was a bit worried (being my first time hatching eggs). But the chicks were under the hen chirping away so I figured it was normal. They r 7 weeks almost now 🙂

I would say any birthing is messy business!

Looks like it kinda pipped towards the middle so a little blood is expected when they do that. But don’t worry I have had chicks hatch and be just fine whenever they do that. Congrats on your hatches!!🥳 It’s so exciting! Silkies are very sweet birds I just got three this year and they hardly ever leave my side when I’m in the coop.
