Ducks must be pretty hardy. I don't pretend to know much about ducks (or anything else, depending on who you;re talking to), but I'm sure wild ducks have oil in  their feathers from their diet. Do domestic ducks have the same on a commercial diet?

yeah they have oils...I Have Khaki Cambell ducks I believe they are very cold hardy too but-10 is freaking cold and we get a lot colder than that. This winter is my big test. If I can get them through it safely I can start to do more things. Expand a little.
