Not wanting to quote that entire post.
Oral surgery went just fine, 'cept my left rear pocket was $200 lighter.

I had to have a rotten tooth pulled. It used to be if you needed an extraction you went to the dentist and he pulled it. Now you go to the same dentist for the same extraction & get sent to a surgeon, for God's sake!

Is everyone a freaking specialist these days???

Anyway, having had to endure the same deal once before (I inherited my mother's soft teeth), I decided I wanted laughing gas this time, rather than the needles. Wise choice! Only pain at all was a slight prick when a small gauge needle was stuck into my already mostly numbed gum. I was fully awake the whole time; all 5 min of it! Took longer to answer the 4 pages of questions out front, plus the same questions being asked again 15 minutes later by the surgeon, like something's going to have changed in that span. I put a quick stop to that crap! I am not a nice patient, at all.
Everything (except the stupid repeat questions) went very smoothly & I was on the way home 45 min later.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that today. Bad teeth run in my family too. So far, I haven't had too much trouble thankfully.

What is even worse than having to see a specialist for everything, you first have to see your doctor/dentist who get paid for seeing you, just to have them send you to someone else.

I hope you aren't in too much pain!!
