Reba has had to be kicked out of the house a few times lately. The Muscovies... Three were in there, not wanting to get out yesterday.

Updating: @Sally Sunshine

I candled the Silkie/Sizzle/Showgirl eggs I sat on the 7th last night. 5 are developing, 2 had blood rings and 3 were clear. Then I opened my coop this morning to discover I have another broody (she makes 4), so she got my incubator eggs

I'm collecting another batch for myself, probably just in time for another hen to go all clucky, I think I have another broody in the works

Help!

I candled my remaining eggs and see definite movement in my remaining lavender Orpington egg. It has a very deep saddle air cell and I honestly can't tell if it's internally pipped. I couldn't hear anything inside.

How do you know when to assist with the saddle air cell? I read the articles about assisting but feel really unsure at this point because of the saddle air cell. And since the other one with this bad of an air cell drowned when it pipped I'm worried about this one.

Help! Advice?!

Day 23.
I would have checked the air cell and taken the top off and seen what is going on by now

@ChickenCanoe Want to get frustrated? I have a question for you! One you would think I would know the answer to by now!
Why are my chickens missing feathers? I have one that is about bald now. Even my rooster is missing a few feathers.
I have yet to see any mites or anything. I will tell you that there's not much calcium right now with the mixed flock. No excuse, I just keep forgetting to give them calcium. However, the problem began before that ... I think.
I would say I'm still getting a good number of eggs. Everyone free ranges throughout the day.
