My broodies had pushed some eggs out of nest area. Cold to touch. Candled them, all drawn down. Due tomorrow or Saturday. Put them back under one of the five hens.

Good news the nyhal chickens Altsterier are fertile as one of the ones kicked out was one of theirs. I will start incubating them soon.

Hey everybody! I've been kinda busy and haven't been able to keep up with this thread, so ... did I miss anything important in the last 1,000 posts (like duckburd pics)?

I just candled my eggs (day 15), and I couldn't see in the blue ones, but, as for the rest, I saw movement in two of them, and the rest looked the same as those, so I'm assuming they're all alive. Air cells are a bit small, so I'll be needing to up the humidity. I didn't get any good pics, but does anyone have any pics of what eggs should look like on day 15? Thank you.
