Kinda makes a guy feel used.
True but it depends on who's using me and for what.

This sounds like me... Full of useless facts and yet all they want on trivia night are are facts about pop culture hehe... We don't do amazingly well...
So true. I'm lost on those categories. I have my kids for lifelines.
In trivia pursuit, geography and science and nature are my best categories but history is OK and then sports. They can keep the entertainment questions to themselves - unless it's TV shows from the 50s. I'm not so hot on literature either.

Even though I can be low on patience at times  , I think that's what drew me to that media. Stone seems to be one of the most difficult and very few people do it. The huge art supply store here, ArtMart, carries stuff for every conceivable type of art - but no stone tools. No one even teaches it in the US and any that would, use power tools. My preferred tools of the trade.
I think it is great. I don't have the eye for it or drawing like Banti, but if I have time in the winter, I like to quilt. I also carry a knitting or crocheting project around with me. It is good when I have to wait anywhere, have a class, or even church. If I am doing something with my hands I can focus. Otherwise, I am planning, making lists, etc., while trying to focus. I had one teacher it bithered years ago. I wish I had shown him my notes or explained. You could see the doodles, lists, etc., on the pages that correlated with me not having it, and neat notes when I did bring something.

All good skills. It's a good habit to bring busy stuff when you know you'll have idle time.
This will seem weird but I can't go the bathroom without a book. I hate vegging out.

Working with your hands is great. I was taught that knowledge travels from your hand up to your brain. That's what taking notes is all about.
