Do you like your scale? What model is it.
The last kitchen scale I bought was so bad. I could put a chick on it and get a weight, put the same chick back on and it would be 20 grams off from the first weighing.

Yes!

The vet said that this hen had cocci so bad that she probably wouldn't live, but she is alive and well NOW after I used corid.

I think so; I'm pretty sure mine did a few years ago.

Banti! See ya later!

Something for people to keep in mind when having fecals read, all birds that have been on the ground will have some oocysts in the feces. It doesn't mean they haven't developed resistance.
I put Gro2Max probiotic powder in chicks first water. I feel that it makes them more resistant to begin with. I haven't had a case of pasted vent in years.

So what would all of you say if I told you that these 7 drank 250 ml of water in 23 hours?

@runt325 and everyone else, note the chick in the first picture... that is one I'm keeping a very close eye on. See how sleepy it looks?

That it's hot there?

I like the way you track weights.
Right now I'm a little too disorganized to do so.
Too many irons in the fire.

It's a Taylor, and it's pretty darn accurate as long as it's level, like on the counter.

@ChickenCanoe , I'm in the process of modifying my excel spreadsheet, so when finished I will forward a copy to you with a few basic notes.

Quote: It's pretty cool... DH made it, and it has a really cool feature where it will line up all the weights to day zero, so you can have data on chicks hatched throughout the year, but line them all up to day zero.
