I have another batch that should be ready to hatch Thursday (Nov 19), this dozen is from a neighbor. So far two eggs have cracked (when they were tiny blood spots nothing more) so I am down to 10. These ones will be a real mix since he has barred rock, RIR, leghorns. I am hoping they will be a good age to start laying for our Canadian summerI plan on keeping these guys indoors for as long as possible then possibly heating my outdoor coop if the smell gets uncontrollable but coming from meat hens I am hoping these stay fresh
Does anyone want to upload a picture of a 2 month old chick up here, would like to know what size they would be. The hens from these 7 was pretty small so I assume these guys will be small to.
