DD's favorite hen was dead in the yard this morning. Body intact, no blood that I could see. She was on her back, wings out, snow angel style. Under a tree. It was fairly peaceful. She was only 2 years old, an australorp from the country feed store in a Cajun French town.

She doesn't wear it often, but I think we will be doing a show this fall
And her nylon halter has a breakaway crown, I hate nylon halters
